Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: Old permalinks still active@safari09
Hi everyone,I’m facing the same issue with the permalinks of a custom post type for which I modified the permalink base. Even though I’ve updated the permalinks, the articles are accessible at both the new URL and the old one. I would like to achieve a 404 error for the old permalinks before implementing a 301 redirect.
Have you found any solution to this problem? Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks!
Yes! I would like to prevent users from editing the theme.
I was conducting some experiments and noticed that even when I export the theme and install it as new without adding any plugins, in the “Appearance” section of WordPress, I don’t see the usual traditional subsections of WordPress, such as “Themes,” “Customize,” “Widgets,” and “Menus.” Instead, there is an option called “Editor” that contains a theme builder similar to tools like Divi or Elementor.
This poses a problem because it is evident upon a simple inspection that the theme layout has been created using a block builder. Is there a way to prevent this from happening?
Hello, thank you for your support. I have adjusted the review submission options to the ‘processing’ status, extending the waiting period by an additional 6 days to ensure that I can submit it within the specified timeframe. In this scenario, our plugins (dropshipping/shipment) should not interfere with order updates, so it should work correctly. I will monitor the situation with the next order to confirm that everything is functioning properly. If it is confirmed, I will be able to report the issue to the plugin developer for a correction. Thanks!
I was forgetting another thing I wanted to point out: if I deactivate the “Hello, you have created your account…” email managed by Profile Builder, to continue using the default woocommerce welcome email, unfortunately it is not sent the woocommerce email to the user. So, theoretically, if I disable the Profile Builder email, I should be able to use the woocommerce email… Why doesn’t it work like this?
ok thanks!
I mean the activation link that is sent via email if the user verification setting is active. Before proceeding as you say, I wanted to ask for another clarification: does this email verification option work only if a registrationmagic form is sent, or does it work in every case of a wordpress user registration? Let me explain, if a user registers directly from the checkout or from another alternative registration page, is the registrationmagic email verification always required? Or not in these cases?
hello, sorry I had imagined it… but it took me a while to figure it out and initially I thought it was a problem.
However, I have another question: when I enable the user registration confirmation email, the confirmation link goes to 404 page…how can I set up a redirect to the account page?

Update: I was able to locate the problem and fix it. The source of the problem was Avada, a misconfiguration in the jQuery Migrate script. If someone has the same problem turn this option off!
I noticed that the problem only occurs on chrome, and it also occurs only on some pages of the site. The Gtranslate widget was inserted via a shortcode in the header.
