Ummm, yes! That works.
Still f I write my ‘domain/wp-login’, my website shows ‘This page doesn’t seem to exist.
It use to appear instantly. Now ‘domain/wp-login’ doesn’t exist, and I only can accede it through adding a .php at the end. How’s that possible? Do you know if i could bring it back to the default ‘domain/wp-login’ in order to show the login page?
Thank you Adam,
we’re almost there ??- This reply was modified 4 years, 1 month ago by fdl95.
Oh, you did it! thank you.
How would you suggest to solve the problem? Considering that I have 2 users, one that works from the backend(me) and one that works on the front-end.
The one working from the front-end would require the ‘default login page’ in order to accede, I suppose.
Still the second one cannot accede from there since the 2FA doesn’t work.
I don’t see any solution..
Having two different login pages could solve the problem?Thank you,
F.Hello Adam, I wish your holidays went well too!
I just tried from Safari and I have the exact same issue as in Chrome.
Yes, I do use a custom login page, the one generated from Essential Real Estate, if you go on the website and you click on LOGIN on the top right section of the MENU, you’ll see it.
Is this possibly related to the problem?
Thank you,
FrancescoYes indeed.
I fix the issue changing the homepageThank you
Good evening,
‘Diagnostic report has been sent successfully.’.Let me know and happy Christmas Adam!
Sincerely,
F.Good morning,
I just tried to access and the vicious message appeared, again:
‘CODE REQUIRED: Please provide your 2FA code when prompted.’.Could it be a bug correlated to the plugin I am using?
‘Essential Real Estate’I don’t know what to do anymore
F.
I’ve followed your instructions; easy and clear as always.
Let’s see in the following days if this is going to fix our issue.
Fingers crossed.
SIncerely,
F.‘Diagnostic report has been sent successfully.’
Thank you,
I’ve sent it.I am afraid that that wouldn’t help, cause for exemple now I am in another location, therefore different IPs.
I am the only person that log into this, i have two different administrator accounts, one for the front end, which never gives me problems (doesn’t has 2fa) and the main one, which (again right now) block me out ond tells me ‘CODE REQUIRED: Please provide your 2FA code when prompted.’ but no new window where to insert the code appears.
Hi Adam,
unfortunately the problem keep presenting itself, even if the cache were cleared and the password is correct.I really don’t know what to do at this point..
I use Wordfence in order to have the 2FA authentication, wouldn’t make sense to deactivate it..
I’ve sent you another email with the two errors.Thank you for your aviabilty, I really appreciate it,
F.The stored passwords are correct, I’ve cleared the cache, please stand by, in two or three days we’ll know if it was that the problem.
Also this morning I had to access manually, passing through the host, and is kinda annoying. Let’s hope is solved now. ??
I’ll keep you updated
F.
Thank youI did it,
I’ll be waiting for a response,
Thank you!It happened again. Anyway, I got in, changing the .bak file; and I see that I have two different errors in there for the login I attempted:
1st: type redirected
2nd: Failed loginIf I click on it as you said nothing expand: I can only click ‘block ip’ ‘run whois’ ‘see recent traffic’.
May I ask you what should i click in order to expand it?
Could I copy the two Errors in full, and paste them here? Or it wouldn’t be safe?
Thank you
