I made two changes:

1) A server side PHP setting, by creating a php.ini in the wordpress root folder with the following line: “max_execution_time=30”
2) Setting “Maximum Execution Time” to 25 in the BackWPup settings as per previous suggestion

The combination of both completely fixed the issue.

There are no more messages in between. The above is – except anonymizing the db and server names – an actual snippet of the log. Those three lines repeat several times, the entire job runs for hours.
There is no caching plugin enabled.
The hoster is 1&1.
Webserver is Apache.
PHP Version 5.4.45.

Meanwhilte… I created a new job which does a database backup only. It was running since yesterday, and I have now manually stopped it. Same warnings as in the full backups.

Any help?

The statement must be entered as an SQL query on your DB, in PHPadmin. Your DB admin, or support at the hosting provider should be able to help.

@camu: Thank you for the great support today! I’ve implemented the change on the live system too and it works beautifully.

Here’s what I got from the MySQL admin:

The error logs are not showing any errors related to your DB.
The table “wp_slim_browsers” contains just a single record.

I use the default code, #_EVENTTIMES is the placeholder for the event time.

If I could replace that, what other placeholder or PHP code should I use to accomplish the desired result?

Thanks for the prompt response.

I found it in wp-snowfall/index.php line 59 and inserted the condition. Result is that the snowfall is missing everywhere.

I have the condition removed again. Snowfall all over the place is better than none ??

I use the WPML plugin.

I have now removed the fixed setting for the site header. Menu works now as expected. This leaves things a lot closer to defaults, however I really regret not being able to fix the header and navbar to the top ??

Tried. Couldn’t figure out that one. Whatever element I try, it doesn’t seem to work with whatever margin changes I make. I’m lost.

I am using a custom CSS plugin. Any other advice?
