In reply to: [WP STAGING WordPress Backup Plugin - Migration Backup Restore] WP StagingHi @the-andrew-grene-foundation ,
First, you have a duplicate definition of “WP_DEBUG_DISPLAY”?. This needs to be fixed from wp-config.php.
Second, a script or plugin trying to modify the header information. Possibly, invalid configuration in wp-config.ph or header.php.
Third, We must see why memory issue is produced. Possibly the small server configuration can resolve the issue?https://wp-staging.com/docs/wp-staging-settings-for-small-servers/.
We have received your free support ticket and responded to that as well.
Hi @tiolen1976 ,
WP Staging makes the staging site no-index for search engines and disallows the crawlers. Please see page indexing issues in Google Search Console. GSC can help in determining the traffic decrease better.
The staging site can not be the reason since it has also been deleted. Please do the technical SEO audit using tools like SemRush.
Hi @datateer ,
There is an issue with available disk space, max number of files, or file permission. Since you are using the PRO version. Please send us your pro-related question via our support form https://wp-staging.com/contact-us-presale-and-premium-support/.

Hi @giacomohemp ,
Can you see the categories in the WordPress admin dashboard? Maybe you have a different permalink structure that may lead to a 404 error.
Please see if this helps https://wp-staging.com/docs/activate-permalinks-staging-site/. Otherwise, open a free support ticket by filling out?this form?so we can investigate this issue for you.

Hi @viniciusdourado ,
You can do this manually by following https://wp-staging.com/migrate-wordpress-staging-site-to-production-site/. Make sure you are technically sound to deal with database tables and files.
Alternatively, you can use the PRO version for one click push operation.
The white screen issue could happen due to a plugin or theme conflict. It’s recommended to enable the debug mode from wp-config.php to see the exact error message. Please follow https://wp-staging.com/docs/enable-wordpress-debug-log-mode/.
Sure we can help if you open a free support ticket by filling out?this form?

Hi @samglass ,
If you’re using the free version, you need to ensure the database credentials are identical to the production site’s database credentials with a different table prefix. You can compare the credentials with the production site’s wp-config.php file. Please see if this tutorial helps.

Hi @mindylll ,
Thanks for using WP Staging. But we recommend this if you have some technical knowledge. You manually migrate the staging site to the production site by the following tutorial: https://wp-staging.com/migrate-wordpress-staging-site-to-production-site/.
However, the PRO version can help you push the staging site to production with just one click. Please send us your pro-related question via our support form?https://wp-staging.com/support/#pro-support.

Hi @xeene14 ,
This could have happened due to a plugin conflict. Are you sure the debug mode was enabled before creating the staging site? Could you find something in error_log? or /logs files from the root directory? The documentation fix a WordPress blank white screen may help. Hi @kassybaevam ,
You have tried to create the staging site outside the base directory. The “open_basedir restriction in effect” error is caused by a PHP security feature restricting access to files outside the base directory. Please see if your hosting company can disable open_basedir for your website
