I’m Fayyaz from the WP Staging support team. WP Staging basic can only write to wp core. However, the PRO version can write to another folder.

I’m Fayyaz from the WP Staging Support team. It’s a general warning message you first have to deactivate a plugin before deleting it.
Please go to the plugins page > scroll down to WP Staging > click deactivate. When the plugin is deactivated, it can be deleted.Please let me know if it helps.

Would you please make sure you’ve activated the post name permalinks?
You can do the following.
1. log in to the staging site
2. Navigate to Settings > Permalinks
3. Activate Post Name permalink
