Thank you. I would appreciate anyone elses thoughts on the load time. I did test on the weekend while interstate but realized my site may be cached on the computers i tested with. I need to do a drive around to some internet cafes.

Thanks a ton for that feedback. Of course from my own computer i’m not as aware re the load time so that is really important to know.

I can apparently make some adjustment in the plugin code but anytime i’ve changed hex code where i’m told to it has made no difference but i do agree and will keep working on that. Thank you.

Update for those who may have a similar experience.

Turns out there is a conflict with faster image insert and social slider pro. I can turn off social slider while i do post until an update comes along that fixes the problem.

Both plugins came in for an update at the same time so it didn’t occur to me there would be a conflict.

I did install a second blog and tried running various themes. All worked well, including other slr loung themes except for the photolounge theme which again had the same problem.

So no doubt just a bit of code somewhere but really odd that it came with an wp upgrade.

I’ve shot them an email too but now i’m just itching to know what it could be out of curiosity.

Is bumping really against forum guidelines?

So what are the options for getting someone to see the post given that the forums move relatively fast and bumping will likely bring the post to the attention of someone who has not yet seen it. j

Am i supposed to start a new thread with the same question?

I found adding the following code to the bottom of the style.css makes the browser screen fill with my tiled background. The footer does not sit at the bottom though but this is much better than a blank white space.
