Hey bwooster,
It sounds like you just need to change your gallery setting to link to the image file rather than the attachment page. If you change that, you should be all set.
Hey niknak,
Unfortunately, that’s not possible. You could do it with custom code using the filters in the plugin, but there’s no way to handle it out of the box.

In reply to: [WP Featherlight - A Simple jQuery Lightbox] Bulk disable pluginIn my opinion, you should be fine loading it site-wide. Our entire script is only 13k minified and loads in the site footer, after all of your other content.
If your page has even one image on it, that should be significantly larger than the payload from Featherlight, so I think it’s probably not worth worrying about too much from a performance standpoint.

In reply to: [WP Featherlight - A Simple jQuery Lightbox] Bulk disable pluginNo, that code would override the checkbox option and it would be placed in your themes
functions.php
file.Unfortunately, without a little bit of code experience it’s probably going to be difficult for you to set up the conditions you want to use when deciding whether or not to display the lightbox.
If you’re looking for a plugin with more user-facing options, take a look at FooBox. It might be a better fit.

In reply to: [WP Featherlight - A Simple jQuery Lightbox] Bulk disable pluginHey tagaeri,
There should be a checkbox to disable the plugin inside the publish box on the post edit screen.
There is no way to bulk disable the plugin from the UI, but you could do it from within your theme. You can disable the CSS and JS from running on the front end using some filters built into the plugin:
If you wanted to do that conditionally, you could wrap it inside a callback like this:
add_action( 'wp_enqueue_scripts', 'prefix_maybe_disable_featherlight', 10 ); /** * Remove all required scripts and styles on most pages. * * @access public * @return void */ function prefix_maybe_disable_featherlight() { if ( ! is_page( 'whatever' ) ) { add_filter( 'wp_featherlight_load_css', '__return_false' ); add_filter( 'wp_featherlight_load_js', '__return_false' ); } }
I hope that helps!

In reply to: [WP Featherlight - A Simple jQuery Lightbox] error with 1.0.0I was able to track down the conflict and opened a ticket on Piklist’s support forum about it.
Since it’s possible that other plugins might do something similar, I’ve also implemented a patch in Featherlight to attempt to work around it. It’s working correctly with the latest version of Piklist on my development server, so I think you should be good to go when I push the next version.

In reply to: [WP Featherlight - A Simple jQuery Lightbox] error with 1.0.0Hmm… I have a fix in place for the next version that should take care of the error, but it sounds like you might end up with no ability to control the lightbox on those posts when that plugin is active.
I’ll do some testing and see if I can get a workaround that will work correctly in all circumstances.
I’m waiting for an accessibility fix to come through in the Featherlight script, but it looks like that will happen pretty soon so I expect to publish the next version sometime today or tomorrow.

In reply to: [WP Featherlight - A Simple jQuery Lightbox] error with 1.0.0Hey Thor,
I’m not able to reproduce this. Do you know what plugin/post type specifically this is happening with?
Unfortunately no, there’s no way to do that by default. There may be a plugin out there to help with batch processing, but I’m not aware of one.
Sorry I don’t have better news!
Ah,
You should be able to click the pencil icon when hovering an image in the admin editor. That should pop up a modal window where you can change the link to point to the media file:

In reply to: [HeartThis] Negative HeartsHmm… it doesn’t look like the issue is happening at the moment. Next time it does, can you enable the AJAX Like Counts setting in the admin and see if that clears it up?
If it does, it’s definitely related to caching. If not, there may be something else going on.

In reply to: [WP Featherlight - A Simple jQuery Lightbox] Not working on multi-siteHey rhellewell,
Sorry for the delayed response. We weren’t getting notifications due to the changes in .org’s forums.
The plugin definitely works on mutlisite. Our primary demo site is a multisite install with the plugin network activated. There must be some other issue going on here. It looks like your page has changed since submitting this ticket, so if you’re still having issues let me know and I’ll do my best to help you debug.
Thanks!

In reply to: [WP Featherlight - A Simple jQuery Lightbox] Trigger CMB2 Multi filesIt sounds like you might need to make that div into a gallery using the
data-featherlight-gallery
attribute. Here’s more information about how to create a gallery: https://github.com/noelboss/featherlight/#gallery-configurationHey Terbium,
WP Featherlight uses the raw text of your captions rather than HTML for security reasons. We have an open issue to improve this in a secure way at some point, but I don’t have an estimate for when that might happen.
You can style the featherlight captions themselves though. The selector for them is
.featherlight .featherlight-content .caption
Hope that helps!
Hey Music47ell,
Are you still having issues? I couldn’t find any images that were set up to be lightboxed on the page you linked to.
