    I added it on https://www.wb4aej.com/newlink/ .

    It’s a start. I look forward to it’s development.

It would be great to be able to customize it a bit.

I inserted the quotes as you suggested.
It had no effect. The page is still blank.
    I am sitting in

    Yannick,

[link-library settings=1] Is the tag I am using on he page where the library appears.

Is that the one I should be usijng?

Any idea why the page goes blank when this tag is included in the page and returns when it is removed?

    Regards,

    Fred

Ok, the provider increased my bandwidth and I am back on.

    The tag is: [link-library settings=1]

I am still getting the white page.

    Fred

    Yannick,

    At the moment, not.

I’ve been doing so much work on that site that I have exceeded my bandwidth limits at the moment. So I unable to do anything with the site at the moment.

I may need to back it up, move it to my own hosting account [I have a Web hosting reseller’s account] so I can give myself more bandwidth.

As of now, I don’t know when I wil have access to it again.

I will do it as soon as I get my access back.

    Regards, and thanks,

    Fred

    Yannick,

    I tried that.

It worked fine on one of the Library Configurations.

On the other one, it made the entire page go blank.

When I delete the tag from the page, the page returns but [of course] without the table.

I have tried viewing it on both of my installed browsers.

    Any suggestions?

    Regards,

    Fred

    Appreciate your help.
I am wanting to take this further.
As soon as I get the database done like I want it, I will probably have some more issues.
    Thanks for your support.

    Cool,

    Can’t check it out now.

I have been doing so much work on that database that I exceeded my bandwidth limit. Not sure when that comes off.

Will check it out when Imget back on the site.

    Yannick,

I was able to redit that CSV file in less than a minute with the search and replace function.

It imported easily a few minutes after that.

I am sorting through all of the links one by one to see which ones need editing, hiding, or deletion, etc.. I have a long way to go. But it is much easier to do them from your plugin.

    This is working out great.

    Yannick,

You are a steely eyed missile man!

In case you don’t know what that means, it refers to a flight engineer named John Aaron who was a legend at NASA as his unique actions prevented Apollo 12 from having to abort their mission. He was also instrumental in finding a way to get the crippled Apollo 13 spacecraft and its crew safely home after the near disaster [which might have cost the lives of the three man crew]!

They nicknamed him the ‘Steely Eyed Missile Man’. When they called anyone else by that name, it was a prestigious complement! It meant they did good!

    This one is resolved. Thanks.

    Regards,
    Fred

    Yannick,

I put some more records (links) into that library to check out the sorting.

It seems to be hitting on all cylinders. Good job!

This is off topic [and just a suggestion].

I would suggestion adding an ‘Unassigned Links’ option under the ‘All Link Categories’ dropdown menu.

This would allow an administrator to quickly locate links that haven’t been assigned to a category.

    That would be great, Yannick.

I was worrying about how I could recreate this database on WordPress. I had a table of these links displaying on my hard coded pages.

But your plugin seems to solving most of my issues.

This would be a big step forward.

    Thread Starter Fred Atkinson

    (@fatkinson)

    Well, I am making progress.
The original page only displays the content from its category [problem solved on that page].
I am working on configuring a new page to display the new category.
    Thanks, Yannick.

    Thread Starter Fred Atkinson

    (@fatkinson)

    Well, that would work.
These links are totally unrelated to the links on the existing page.
Yes, the new links are in a separate category.
The existing links should only be displayed on that page and not these new links.
The new page should only display the new links [and not the old ones]?
It sounded like you described it exactly right!
Now if I can just figure out hiw to do that.
    Thanks,

    Fred

    Yannick,

I created a second library and added ten of the links [from my database] to that library.

My intent was for each library to be displayed on its own separate page.

But the new library is appearing at the bottom of the page where the old library appears.

Have not been able to figure out how to alter the short code so that only one of the libraries appear.

    Any suggestions?

    Regards,

    Fred
