I’m about to give up. I downloaded version 2.7.1, uploaed to my themes folder, wp-content/themes, deleted all the other themes I had in therre and it still doesn’t work. No, the default theme is gone.

I wouldn’t normally do this, but I’m desperate. Siteground is my web host, https://www.siteground.com/ screen name xxxx password xxxxxx. site login https://fashionevolution.net/wp-login isthe same. I might have deleted classic. I deleted the themes from my wp-content/themes. Now what?:(

Initially, i activated one of the themes and it worked except it had an error message on the homepage about a broken theme. So I deleted that file and uploaded a new theme. That was went the site went blank and I got that message in my dashboard. Thanks for your help. This is totally frustrating.
