Hey, I’m not an expert, but I had this same problem yesterday. It would seem your best bet is to go into your FTP client or cPanel and deleting the last thing that you installed, in your case the new theme. This worked for me after deleting a plugin which caused my error.

Finally got most of the site up from the 500 error. But now, the Home page is not loading properly. The top menus appear, the corporate logo as well, but thats all. Any one able to suggest how to fix this?

The server error came up while I was trying to install a plugin, and as a total newbie to wordpress apparently I did something wrong that caused the error. Grappling with that problem right now.

Anyways thanks again for your instructions. Ill reply to this thread again once I’ve got the site back up and running and if I need more specific help.
