Hi,
Do the changes get saved in the options or do they get reset there as well?
Hi,
No, sorry, at the moment the supported solutions are:
- AWeber
- iContact
- MailChimp
- GetResponse
- MadMimi
- Interspire Email Marketer
- ConvertKit
We’ll keep ConstantContact in mind when we’re updating the plugin.

In reply to: [Optin Forms - Simple List Building Plugin for WordPress] IntegrationHi,
No, sorry, not yet.
Hi,
Sorry for the delay. Just updated the plugin, it now has a shortcode which can be used to output different text for different languages.
The shortcode is [optinforms_translate lang=”en_US”]Text[/optinforms_translate].
The lang parameter accepts the language code, so if you have a website in English and Spanish you could use this as the form title:
[optinforms_translate lang="en_US"]Subscribe[/optinforms_translate][optinforms_translate lang="es_ES"]Suscribir[/optinforms_translate]

Hi,
I see there’s a different plugin enabled at the moment on the website. Can you send over the URL to a page where optinforms is added and I’ll give it a check.
You’re welcome.
Hi,
We’ll give it a try, if we figure out a solution we’ll release an update. Most likely on Monday.
Hi,
Unfortunately, multiple languages are not supported at the moment. Which plugin are you using to handle the multiple languages on the website?
Hi,
I see it now. It’s coming from WordPress Popup plugin. So check the settings for that plugin, has to be in there.
Hi,
Once the plugin is deactivated it stops outputting the shortcode. But if the client ( or someone that worked for him ) added the shortcode directly in the code or in some theme option ( for outputting custom content ) those are not removed.
That applies for all plugins.
But I do not see it being outputted at the moment, I’m assuming you found where it comes from and removed it, correct?
Hi,
Please send over the URL to the website and I’ll check out what’s going on.

In reply to: [Optin Forms - Simple List Building Plugin for WordPress] Optin Form bugHi,
You’re welcome, happy to hear that’s sorted out.
As for pages, it should show up there as well, as long as the theme calls the_content() WordPress function which all themes should be doing.
Try typing the word “test” in the main content ( the main text editor when you edit the page in WP admin ) and check if it shows up on the page. If it does show up then the form should show as well.
Also make sure that in the “Form placement” settings it’s set to “After the page”.
Alternatively you can simply put the shortcode [optinform] at the end of the page content and it will show the form.
Hi Michiel,
Thank you, happy to hear that.
The plugin simply passes the form information to the newsletter service provider. So, the confirmation page is handled by the provider, in this case GetResponse.
But I’m not too familiar with GetResponse, how does the confirmation page work, is it on their website or is it like an option where you set the URL to which GetResponse will redirect the subscribers?

In reply to: [Optin Forms - Simple List Building Plugin for WordPress] Optin Form bugAlso, every change I make takes a really long time to take affect, don’t know if that has anything to do with the problem?
The plugin itself applies the changes instantly. The reason for the delay is the caching plugin. So when making changes to OptinForms ( or any other plugin ) make sure to clear the cache.
It’s possible that the change you made ( the exclude option ) didn’t work because it wasn’t applied due to the caching. Can you give it a try again and make sure to clear the cache after you make the change.
