Hello Andy, I use the plugin for a long time always without a problem, then suddenly the same error message as you. I had the same problem. I tried everything, plugins disabled all and so on. Finally, it worked when I used the same email address and sender address.

I deleted the original plugin by ftp and the new uploaded. In my case the settings have been preserved. All works fine now-
(The setting remains in the database – but no guarantee)
