HOW do you share? Do you use any plug-in for that? If yes, it could be a problem of the plug-in. Because, whenever you post a link on facebook the “normal” rendering takes place and all filters for shortcode parsing apply.

1.5 is just a “patch” version, but i increased the minor version to 5 because of major changes in the backend. 1.5 is not a feature release but a heavy patch release.

So the feature release 1.5 will be 1.6.

This is a very special case an i will not support something like that. maybe you could use the event description, to add a link to external pages and make sure, the description is shown in the widget or event list as well by edition the template.

if the event disappears in the admin interface, it is maybe a caching problem. events are permanently deleted from datebase, there is not trash!

BUT, there ist maybe an error, that events can not be deleted. this one is fixed in the new version. this only applies to you, if your events do not disappear from the admin interface!

WP Calendar 1.5 will support an extra option for the parameter {event_description} which will allow you to truncate the part of the description after the more-tag.

{event_description; truncate_more=1}

as daDirtyD mentioned, just use some extra html and css -> resolved!

i don’t know why it does not work with negative timestamps. the new version, which will be release today, is supporting MySQL Datetime, which makes it much easier. This new version, will also support some basic keywords, which help your needs. As soon as you have the version, you could print the list of events by using the following tag:

{events_print; number=50; datefrom="1952-01-01 00:00:00"; dateto="today" orderby=datefrom; orderdir=desc}

not supported, when using widgets or tags. you could use the php functions and calculate by your own. have a look at the documentation (calendar settings page), where the functions are described.
