Effectivement, je suis allé dans page d’accueil>Design des listes d’articles et ensuite j’ai bien coché “Display the post thumbnail” mais malgré ?a, aucune image ne s’affiche ds mes blocs d’article…??
Peut-être une mauvaise manip…?? lorsque je modifie l’article pourtant je fais “Ajouter un média” , je choisi l’image et celle-ci se colle dans le bloc d’édition, et c’est tout ce que je fais en faisant bien sur ensuite “Mettre à jour”
Voici ce que j’obtiens (une partie d’écran):

Désolé, je n’ai pas trouvé comment insérer ma capture d’image (normalement , il va recherché ds l’explorer…??) bref, je pense que vous avez compris mon pb, chaque bloc devrait être recouvert d’une image mais ce n’st pas le cas , ca reste grisé…!!!:-((
Rem: En fait je voudrais comme la présentation du site (mentionné dans précédent post) mais uniquement les images ds chaque bloc d’article.

Thank you very much for your information, it really helped me !!.
But it’s really not easy to navigate this jungle of themes !!
I thought it was much easier for beginners like me, to already find a theme corresponding to what you want.
without having to add plug-ins each time .. then hello to the gas plant !!!

So indeed the Forest theme corresponds, for my blog part, quite to my presentation of the blog on 2 columns, (thumbnails or postcard)
this is the option “Personalization / Desing & Layout / Blog Layout (so already predefined in the theme)
But what I can’t seem to understand why this option and so many others are not the default on most themes ???
without having to install plug-ins or widgets too often ???
On the other hand, with this new theme, this time I can no longer insert my header image and I do not see this option (while on the
other themes I had it !!! : – (() When I like something in a theme, I can’t find it in another theme !!!

It’s really painful never to find a set of things (preinstalled) that you want in the same theme.
In fact, I’m looking for a theme that is closer to the presentation side of the following themes in order of preference: Colinear, Twenty Ten, Graphene
and who would have in addition the option therefore (Blog Layout) ….. apparently something impossible to find … ??? !!! and yet I looked for themes by filtering my choices
as best as possible and besides I find that the filters page (filters are much too imprecise and we do not always know what this means visually
On the other hand, if someone has had a similar experience or can help, I thank him in advance ;-))

I’m repeating myself but I really thought it was much more accessible than that (I thought that for each theme all the basic options were integrated there and if possible with WYSIWYG)

Mais en quoi ?a pourrait poser des problèmes?
J’imagine en terme de mise à jour mais lesquelles ?
Je ne bénéficierais peut-être plus des dernières mise à jour concernant les widgets ou extensions ??? mais malgré ?a, j’espère que mon site fonctionnerait toujours..??
Pour ma part, le site que je dois réaliser est assez simple (site vitrine, essentiellement du texte , se rapprochant d’ailleurs plus d’un blog, partie articles, évènements, finalement site très classique).
Dommage, ce template correspondait tout à fait à ce que je recherchais sinon je ne sais pas quel autre template se rapprocherait plus?

Effectivement, j’ai trouvé sur la page source mais je connaissais pas la méthode pour rechercher , il fallait taper: CTRL-F !!!
J’ai trouvé le thème Colinear mais apparemment c’est un assez vieux thème (dernière MAJ…2016 !) , je ne sais si j’ai intérêt à le prendre???

En fait, effectivement, je n’ai pas compris , il me l’a retraduit en mettent “modifiant”
(car au départ je l’avais saisi en anglais…d’ailleurs je ne sais pas si je dois rédiger en anglais ou dans la langue d’origine??) au lieu de ce que j’avais pourtant bien mis au départ “éditant” ..??
Bref vous avez compris c’était une erreur de traduction ;-))
J’ai essayé les 2 sites mais malheureusement, il m’affiche thème inconnu..???
pas de chance…:-(( sinon sur la page source HTML, je ne sais pas où le nom du thème figure surtout qu’il y a vraiment trop de ligne à chercher !!!

I saw however that we could position a block (in the example it was a text)
relative to the precise positioning of the cursor. (I had seen the demo).
afterwards I do not see the connection too much if it concerns a PC, tablet or mobile display ???? since the theme I have chosen is responsive.
(therefore adapts to all devices)

Regarding the notions of group and columns, I don’t really know what this corresponds to when we insert a widget ???
