Hola Hector,
thx for yur kind answer.
yes I know the table is from another plugin, actually the very popular next gen gallery. But wp popular post 2.2.1 lived smoothly with nextgen during several months, and it’s the activation of popular post 2.3.2 that trigger the error. i don’t know why.
Anyway, I’m happy with 2.2.1. Can’t say way, but it seems 2.3.2 has a lot of problems, so I’ll wait for a new stable version.
Again thank you very much for your great work
cheers
FabSame for me, I switched back to 2.2.1. Hope Hector will have some time to fix it in a new version.
Relevanssi Premium slowness was driving me crazy, but when I disabled the custom excerpt as suggested by hiharry, it started to work as it supposed to do. And I can live without the custom excerpts.
So, what seems to make relevanssi terribly slow is the custom excerpt. Maybe this can helps msaari to spot the problem.
cheers

In reply to: [WP Super Cache] [Plugin: WP Super Cache] Make known users anonymous not workI have exactly the same problem, hope it will solved soon.
Thanks for your great plugin
FabGreat, thank you so much!
FabNo luck, I made a tar of all my plugin folder in the live site, downloaded it to make sure I have exactly the same version of everything. Then I activated all the plugins on the local version of the site and the separator is still showing. So I guess it’s not a plugin conflict.
I really don’t know what can cause the problem, and why it works with more than 2 authors.
Thank you very much for your help!Thank you Daniel!
You are right, it seems to break when there are 2 authors but it works for more than 2.
I tried to adddefine('COAUTHORS_DEFAULT_BETWEEN', '*')
or to add a betweenLast argument, but it does not solve the problem.
It’s difficult to say what changes between the live and local version. I’ll try to install all the plugins I have on the live version and tell you if I’m able to find a conflict.
Again, thank you very much!Hi Daniel,
thank you for your answer, I’ll try one of the previous option. I just noticed a weird behavior: on the live site the separator is showing only on certain posts.
Here you have the separator:
https://cameraobscura.busdraghi.net/2011/li-jie-zhang-jungang/
here no separator:
https://cameraobscura.busdraghi.net/2011/li-wei/
It’s really strange because the two pages are generated by the same template file.
I’ll try what you suggested and let you know.
Thank you very much
FabianoGreat, thank you so much!
Yes, popular posts shows every language instead of the current language as it should. I’ve read all the old posts you wrote on wp support and wpml forum, and this is way I started this slightly off topic conversation, sorry for that.
If you need any helps testing wpml with your plugin please let me know and I’ll do my best. I’m not a good programmer but I’m sure I can help. Also, the guys behind wpml are very friendly and usually helps people who wants to make plugins compatibles with wpml. If you contact them I’m sure they’ll help.
Again, thank you very much for your great work and for those 2 features in your todo list.
cheers
fabHola Héctor,
thank you very much for the update, I appreciate and I understand you can’t do everything.
In any case I hope you’ll implement this feature one day, it would made your plugin much more flexible. For example it would be possible to filter the current language to display the popular posts with wpml.
By the way, wpml it’s much more stable than a couple of years ago. If in your plugin you use wp api instead of low level database queries, the result will be automatically filtered by wpml. So, another feature I’d love to see implemented.
Sure, it’s just an idea, some food for thoughts for a possible TO DO list.
Again thank you very much for your great work!
cheers

In reply to: Seeking an advanced search interfaceI’m searching for the same kind of plugin (plus wpml and relevanssi compatibility).
I have a dream: a google like advance search where an user can decide where to perform the search: date, category, tag, custom taxonomy, custom post type, language, etc.
If you are a plugin developer, I think a plugin like that would make happy thousands of people.
Thanks

In reply to: [WordPress Popular Posts] [Plugin: WordPress Popular Posts] W3C validationHi Héctor,
I have the same problem. Any chance you can remove the javascript from the header and publish a new version of the plugin?
Thank you so much for your great work!
FabI have the same problem and I’m happy it will solved soon, great! Can not wait for the new version of the plugin!
Thank you for your wonderful work ??Hi Héctor,
your plugin is great, but it would be really usefull to get an array of popular posts that I can succesively style as I want. Ideally, one should be able to access all the post informations, for exemple authors, excerpt, categories, etc.
Hope you’ll rrealese a new version soon!
again thank you very much for your help
