The more I use it, the more I find out the free version is very very limited

I imported the .xml file into the new site
I now have the posts all published in the Posts section but:
1-they don’t have the featured image
2-despite being shown as Published when I click on “View” I get an error
message “NOT FOUND, ERROR 404“
3-I can’t add a Blog item to the menu bar in the Appearance>Menu section, as the posts all appear listed singularly

I’ll need to Export>Import just the blog posts, complete with all content (text, images).
Since it actually is and it’s going to be a photoblog, migrating the images correctly for each post is fundamental.
I’ve read somewhere than when Exporting via the Export tool within WP, it doesn’t include “Featured images”, which are exactly how images are added to posts in the old blog.
How can I make sure to move the images to have them added each single correct post?

Error message using Firefox:
“Download failed. cURL error 7: couldn’t connect to host”

I had problems with Firefox, try with Chrome which I used to successfully import the demo

I found a GoDaddy support page on how to Import SQL files into MySQL databases, this one
Only I’m not sure if this procedure will substitute the old corrupted database with the backup copy I will import.

This is what I get when I am in my databases Management, as you see there’s not a download option but a Backup option which creates a backup copy which will be saved in this location:/_db_backups
Should I then delete the actual Database using the Delete command and later add with “Restore” the backup file I received on my email?

No, I said:

After I added my email and hit Send, a message appeared telling me to check my email to find a mail message containing the link to create a new pw.
The problem in my case is that email never arrived (it’s already 3+1/2 hours ago since I asked for it) so I have no way to access my admin area because I don’t have a new password.
That’s why I’m saying this should be addressed by someone within WP….

Well, I know there’s no official support but……I’m not looking for help for customization issues or coding.
I mean, WP system is not giving me the chance to generate a new pw and access my admin area; even the cheapest website on earth grants you a password retrieve option.
I can’t believe WordPress can’t do this

So what one can do in such a case where OFFICIAL support should step in (I don’t think other users can work around my admin settings) and does not instead????

both malware detection sites (Sucuri, Unmaskparasites) don’t find any malware within my blog.

I notice no answers by the author of the plugin.
Not a good sign…..
