    Jeez, thanks for the quick reply!

    I verified that I did make the modification to …themes/child-theme/template-parts/page/content-page.php as well as the other mods to the other files. I have not made other changes to the child theme.

    The TwentySeventeen parent theme has get_sidebar() in the following files: archive.php, index.php, search.php, and single.php. When you said “If you add current sidebar from another file, please delete it first.” do you mean I should remove it from those files?

    It’s not a show stopper as I can add page slugs to my plugin that will allow me to have different code in sidebars depending upon the page if I need to.

    Thanks for your time. I understand this is outside the normal scope of supporting your plugin.
