I can’t use the basic options in plugin because I have lot of sub categories under every main categories.

I have both GAMES, PICTURES.. as main category

and GAMES category have : action, arcadem, puzzle, etc sub categories.. etc

But I even tried to run the website for more than 1 year without any ads ! and it was not good days. the server hosting bill cost is more than few hundred dollars for such game sites and it eat lot of bandwidth. (I use vps + CDN hosting too)

But I really agree with your comments, and will remove the anonnying ads for sure.

PS : I’ve already removed those flashing banner exchanges.

user experience is the first thing we should target.. if its a quality site it will be great !
and lot of ads doesn’t always means more revenue.. a well placed “single” ad can earn more than that

That is correct. but lot of similar sites do that.
They are the visitor exchanging banners for same games related sites.

I will be removing them after getting a steady amount of visitors.

You can always include your logo file name / url or part of the name i guess.. in the exceptions list. then it will ignore.

its under : CDN-> Rejected Files.

I’ve set this in my my.cnf file
log-slow-queries = /tmp/slow_queries.log
long_query_time = 2

but really didn’t get any slow queries yet. and site posts loading faster like before too.

Will this give more load to server ?

ah… the same posts are working now.. can someone help me with this ? is this a temp server problem ?

I tried to switch to default theme and the error was “404” and post not found.. how is this possible.. the post is still in db, admin page.. and o tried to optimize, repair database too

I was upgraded to wordpress 3.1 few days before and problems came after that…. disabling caching plugin doesn’t seems to work.
