Yes, you can make Paypal payments mandatory in the paypal settings page. This will prevent anyone from making bookings without payment.

This plugin is not suitable for multi-day bookings, such as accommodation or vehicle rental etc.
It is designed for businesses which take bookings for services or events that occur on a single day such as haircuts, room bookings etc.

Here are the answers to your questions:
Are the clients who make a booking saved in a database where:
– the client can directly retrieve their name and contact info when making subsequent bookings,No, your clients will not have access to the database once they make a booking. Only you can modify, delete, and view booking details in the database.
– the site owner can add them during an over the phone booking.
Yes, the system has an admin section where you can create manual bookings, change existing bookings, etc.
– the contact information can be accessed to make it easy to send them notices of special offers and deals.
Yes, you can run reports to extract information into PDF or Excel. A custom data extract can be created if you require the data in a specific format.
Is there a way to add a condition for pet policy like No Pets, or 1 Pet, must be under 25#, must be preapproved
Kindof. The system lets you design your own booking details form (where you collect your customers information). Here, you can put in anything you like. To prevent under 25’s from booking, for example, you can put in a note here such as “NOTE: You must be 25 and over” etc. Off course, the system doesn’t police these policies – it simply presents them in the display.

Firstly, I’m so sorry for the very late reply – I didn’t get any emails alerting me to your question so I only found it today. I guess it’s much too late but I’ll answer your questions below:
To answer your first question – yes, the system will block out times that are booked out to prevent double-bookings.
In regards to the 30 minutes service time – there is a feature due to be released shortly which can do this (i.e. pad x minutes to the start or end of a booking). This is likely to be released early October 2014.
In regards to your question about fixed times – at present this is not possible as the system automatically creates available time blocks kind of like a stack. There are plans however to include this kind of functionality in the system in the near future, depending on customer demand.
