Thank you, @doublezed2!
@doublezed2 I have the same problem. I really like the new Cart/Checkout blocks, but they’re clearly not ready yet for serious usage because of the lack of extensibility. The docs you link to are out of date and archived on Github. Is there anything current that we can refer to? Even the links on your website point to the outdated Github repo.

In reply to: [Autoptimize] Recent plugin update breaks two of my sites?I pushed a small update to the Github version earlier today, can you test by either replacing 2.7.8 with this zip-file OR by applying the small change yourself and re-test?
Everything is working great after installing the beta, even with “404 fallbacks” enabled. Thanks!

In reply to: [Autoptimize] Recent plugin update breaks two of my sites? Can you confirm the problem goes away when “Enable 404 fallbacks?” is off?
It worked for me! The site is now usable, and doesn’t seem to be throwing errors any more, after disabling the “404 fallback” option.
I agree with @finnlewis though, that allowing /wp-content to be writable is a security issue, and I think my host has the same policy, which is why the error cropped up in the first place.

In reply to: [Timely All-in-One Events Calendar] WP 5.3 causes PHP warningsI have only 10 plugins installed. They are…
My best suggestion would be to disable them all, and enable one by one till you find the culprit. The plugins seem to be problem, not the WP core. (Possibly also related to newer versions of php running more stringent checks for errors, who knows…)

In reply to: [Timely All-in-One Events Calendar] WP 5.3 causes PHP warnings@laptophobo the common thread seems to be a plugin that causes the issues. Try disabling all plugins, then enable them one by one until you find the culprit. In my case, it was the WP-DISABLE plugin. I heard from another user that “Popup Maker” was also guilty. If you post here which plugin it was in your case, that may help others with a similar issue!
I searched Piwik forums, but didn’t seem to find much that would help, there was one thread that described a similar problem (piwik.php takes 8 sec to load) but there was no answer as to a solution.
I only get 10-15 visitors per day, so most of the “big site” optimizations probably won’t make much difference for me… ??
I’m using the Default tracking. I presume piwik.php is the call performed by the tracking code…
This is what I’m seeing:
No, I am not using the toolbar graph.
How do I double-check that the PHP API is working? I tried it, but that made my site load time quadruple, (“piwik.php” took 5.2 sec to load) When I set it back to HTTP, then site load time went back to normal.
Piwik and WP are running on the same host… I just did a little more digging, and discovered that the main slowdown is on the /wp-admin/ page, which affects me, but not site visitors, (I was mainly concerned about site visitors).
Thanks for the tip about PHP API, I just activated it, so we’ll see how it goes.
Thanks for responding, I appreciate it!Thanks for pointing that out! Now I only see 2 little orange notifications, instead of 2 orange and 1 yellow! ??
I 4th this. So far most of the yellow notifications have been duplicates of what is already showing in the Plugins or Core update notifiers. I don’t mind seeing Wordfence specific notifications, but I don’t need to click “Ok” to duplicate notifications.
At the very least, update the notification so that when I update the plugin in question, the yellow circle disappears! ??

In reply to: [GD bbPress Attachments] Any way to select the order of uploaded attachments? No, the issue has not been resolved yet, I haven’t gotten any replies yet one way or the other.
I agree with you that they seem to appear in reverse order of how they were selected. I did manage to order them how I wanted to by deleting and re-uploading pictures till they were right, but that’s a very clumsy way of doing things!
Plus, if you use the img tag in a post, it somehow affects the attachments, messing up their order once again.
