Problem is solved. It was a corrupt pluggable.php file.

Been to all of those links and tried to follow their suggestions to the best of my ability.

Solved! I found my error.

That’s another thing that seems a little strange about this theme. There doesn’t seem to be a wysiwyg editor. I’m using the basic editor.

I’m also having trouble positioning images in the newest version of wordpress. No matter how much html I throw at the post I can’t get an image to center and my text left justified and properly spaced below my image. Also, the space between the end of the post and the comment options run together. Any help would be appreciated. This is a new blog I’m helping some friends create at darlingdimples.com.

It seems unfriendly at first but as you learn more about it you begin to see it as a really great starting point. All you have to do is look at all of the wonderful pages created from the basic building blocks provided by WordPress. I’m no designer, no coder, just a saintly protein chemist having fun but I’m enjoying playing with WordPress.

p.s. glad you liked the cartoon. i’m re-doing my whole site to include my cartoons. yet another embarrassing hobby.

I asked this question because when I tried just that, the file looked pretty weird. Is there something I’m missing. I’m too scared to just edit the file through the admin feature. I want to save the original and then play. I figure that’s the only way I’m going to understand all of this.

I’m idiot so be patient with me. I’m a little confused about editing the WP css file. Am I able to download it, edit it in note pad like any other file, or do I need a special tool?

It wasn’t me on the DH forums but I’m glad somone else has had the problem because it will probably receive more attention now. I haven’t heard from DH support yet but they’re always good about such things.
