Dashboard is finally back.
Found it finally.
Reason for block:
“blocked for Accessed a banned URL”Sorry, I said it was for hitting my IP in the url, but it’s not (I got confused), I have added something in the firewall parameters to block url requests with “sync” or something I, forget, but it’s something I’ve done on my end (with necessary IPs just totally whitelisted)
I have not asked my website server about this IP 62.182.86.26, so I will send them an inquiry as well, thank you. I will update on what they have to say about it when I hear back.
Good Day,
Thank you for your response. My ISPs IP address is completely different, in a different country as well. The hits are every day all day long for days now, and I had previously added any url hits containing my website IP address to the blocklist paramaters (all necessary IP addresses for website and security functionality have been whitelisted), so that is why these hits are being blocked.
When I look up the IP address 62.182.86.26, the url says “website coming soon” in the browser.
Any ideas on what on earth is going on? I run a site exposing someone with a large following, and since day one (over a year now) they’ve been trying to hack/copy/scan/scrape my site and its info, so I assumed it’s something to do with that (?)
Here’s an example of the many many urls hitting from that IP address:
/mywebsite/?wordfence_syncAttackData=1683064958.9282 and the end numbers are all different each time. It’s being identified by WordFence as a bot, and the header/string/referrer info says:
WordPress/6.2; https://mywebsiteurlIP is always 62.182.86.26
Thank you for your assistance!
I have submitted a ticket and it was suggested that “page” was not selected, but “page” has been selected since day one and it was counting real-time for a while then just stopped. “Page” not being selected is not the issue since it is selected. It’s still not back to working like normal, please advise.
