I confirm this unwanted behaviour of BackWPup.

When BackWPup zip file size is above ~500Mb it deletes previous archive which exist in Local Backup Folder, but leaves the other below 500MB.
This do not affect the FTP repositary.

I have found the behaviour which seems to trigger the issue.

I did reduce the scope of files to backup in order to reduce the zip file size below ~500Mb and this did solve the issue.

I will follow up ow this is doing infutre and let you know.

I am providing you the line numbers where issue exist in code.

And last distribution installed on Auguts 21st 2021 does not include the “assets/img/testimonial-bg.jpg”

What more do you need ?

Hello,

How to activate a more detailled Backwpup debug log during local file or ftp management ?
This to check if/how it is Backwpup which is deleting those files.

I did activate debug log, but nothing is shown regarding purge of old versions files.

By the way I have a second site showing same behavior, which keeps only last backup version on local directory (but manages correctly remote ftp repositary).

Yes the issue is still there.

The 2 css files were last updated on August 23rd 2021 (same date for all other suffice theme package).

Yes for now it works, because I did the repair action as state above :
“To repair I just modify one general setting and save changes which resets this failure.”
I will tell you next time it happens to show you.

I wanted to make the “View More” link visible by changing its default colors which happens to be same as my needed/selected background color.

I solved it using following Custom css syntax.
.eu-cookies-bar-cookies-bar-message a {color:white;text-decoration:underline}
.eu-cookies-bar-cookies-bar-message a:hover {color:grey;text-decoration:underline}
