In reply to: (small) Image alignment problemI use the free Faststone Image Viewer to resize images and to place a 10 px border around the resized images
Being an anti-geek and having moved from Blogger (when it went Beta and offered 3 week support response), to WordPress.com to www.remarpro.com when I decided to set up my own domain, I have found the use of both WordPress.com and .org to be very intuitive.
LS, it sounds to me as though you want breakfast in bed. Don’t blame the software because it doesn’t bring you breakfast in bed.

In reply to: ICS calendar – no admin menuWhat version of WordPress are you using? It must be 2.5 or higher.
You’re probably more attentive than am I; but a couple of times I’ve downloaded plugins which did not work and realized upon investigation that my WordPress version was not current enough.

In reply to: wp-contentAre you downloading them to the wp-contents, themes folder? You may designate your upload location, for images for instance, location in the “Settings”, “Miscellaneous” tabs.

In reply to: StatsAs Rosanna Rosannadanna used to say, never mind. The problem was that I had updated FF and had to authorize the WordPress.com cookie to access stats from my www.remarpro.com blogs.
Sorry for clogging up the forum.

I downloaded your neat plugin, successfully activated it, but it is not working.
I use the Press Row theme, which I have substantially modified.

In reply to: Archive Page RenderingThanks miromiro.
Previously the archive listing appeared in a single column, but somewhere along the way it changed to the rather messy three column look and there is some text overlapping amongst the categories.
I have not changed the letter spacing, which seems OK.

In reply to: Very new to WordPressI am having the same problem. However, when activating WPG2 I was not asked for an API number. It seems the previous plugin activation also did not query for the API.
I have just migrated by WordPress blog to my own domain.
Anyone know how can activate the API query for plugin activations, which I assume is required.
My API number was assigned to me in association with my WordPress hosted blog.
In WordPress “Options” I have my self-domain address entered in both the “WordPress address (URL):” and “Blog address (URL):” boxes.
I’m new at this stuff. Anyone have any suggestions?
