Bug solved, except now NO POSTS will display who wrote ’em.

I think I know what it is. I added all of your shortcodes to Posts. What I’m seeing is the Post credit line stating that the Post was created on DATE by USERNAME.

When someone clicks USERNAME they land on the USERNAME arvhive or something weird. Regardless of what page is loaded after clicking USERNAME at the top of a Post, the simple work around could be to never display the Post credits.

So when running WP Job Mrg in Posts instead of Pages, maybe a means of omitting the Posts’ credits is needed. Then the DATE by USERNAME line never displays to cause these odd results.

Okay, thank you very much for replying with a possible solution on the horizon, but the problems are also that
1) the form is on every page (in the sidebar); and
2) someone is submitting the form with bogus info very often.
We can disable caching completely, but speeding up WP was a big reason for switching to WPengine.

I am in WP3.7.1 and TML won’t send the email for verification to the newbies.

I have email verification set.

I see newbie “pending” in Users w/ Resend Activation link available.

I do get emails from WP for website stuff like when user is deleted “access denied” msg. is sent. So emailing works.

User has to go to Login > Resend Activation, then they get a TML email w/activation link. Problem with that is that it’s not for the password the user chose for themself. It’s a reset.

As soon as they click activation another msg is sent to them immediately with new pwd. They don’t get to use the custom pwd they chose.

This worked for me. After downloading and installing the zip file Matthew linked at the beginning of this thread, I had a yellow highlighted notice at the top that reminded me to import pre-existing settings. When I clicked that, I landed on my slideshow’s settings page with the big blue button to import settings.

This topic is “Things to do if the plugin is not working” which is as generic as it gets. Off topic posts could be called pollution if one wanted to be abrasive. Thus, any posts herein are neither pollution, nor off-topic. I have a better solution than posting anew, anyway. DELETE. Find better slideshow or make my own.

Adding to my other post: I disabled and enabled the plugin twice since the error and that didn’t help. I have only one instance of the plugin configured.

I’m using your Frontpage Slideshow plugin, but had to disable it just now.
Updates have kept my original configuration working on my wp2.92 inserted with the shortcode method until your latest Version 0.9.9.3.3 where buttons remained but images and excerpts will not load anymore.
