I forgot to say that I’m using responsive gallery template, and foobox free as lightbox. Thank you.
Hi there, I can’t say if your hosting allows you to edit the php version, you should ask them. Every hosting has its rules and procedures.

I’m still struggling with captions. Now in the first row it shows the Alt text, and as second row you can read the name of the page instead of description or anything. Of course all fields are filled.
Ok, setting my galleries I got a minor problem: in one album I need to use captions, but even if I write in title and description fields of each image, what I get in the lightbox is the name of the page.
I tried foolighbox and other lightboxes, all of them give this same result. Any idea how can I fix this? Thank you.Hi bradvin,
thank you, now it seems everything is working fine.Yesterday I tried foogallery on another wordpress website I run, on a different hosting, and I didn’t had any problem there.
Today I noticed that the two hostings had a different php version, the hosting which didn’t show the extension was php5.4, and the one which worked fine was php 5.3.29.
So, before uploading the version you linked here, I changed the version from php 5.4 to php 5.3 – things were still the same at this point (not working).
Then I deactivated Foogallery plugin, uploaded via ftp the files you linked to the route wp-content/plugins/foogallery , reactivated the plugin and now it’s working.
I’m linking you the screen I got after I reactivated the plugin and clicked on foogallery extensions menu. There you can read the sentence “There was a problem loading all the public extensions! Only the default bundles extensions will be shown.”https://img.photobucket.com/albums/v110/GranchiolinaRock/gallery-now_zps2fmt3lfj.jpg
Apparently everything is working fine, and the gallery now is showing the thumbnails as it should.
Maybe these details about what I did can help robinoeten to solve the problem too.
