Following up on this. I applied a negative margin to align the breadcrumbs on the left, and the text vertical align issue seems to be inherited from the body CSS. I am marking this thread as resolved.

Following on my previous message.
The menu had a high z-index but the header section had z-index = 10, which is below the Marvy backgound z-index (99).
I could solve the problem by putting the z-index of the header section at 100.

If anyone got the same issue, I solved it by going to the WordPress General Settings page, then I saw that my blog URL was set like this : https://mywebsite.com/blog so I added www to make it https://www.mywebsite.com/blog. This immediately solved the looping issue I experienced with this plugin.
As I already have a template installed on the blog, the widgets of this plugin do not display very nicely, but I’d like to thank the developer for sharing this with us (merci au développeur ??
I’ll try to tweak the plugin to make it work with my graphical template.
