I believe only admin users can use the plugin. I’ll need to look into this in the future and make it so non admin users can be given access.

Sorry there is not a way to do that.

Did you get it sorted out, the images don’t look small to me. The white space around the images causes them to be a little smaller. Let me know if you need anymore help!

I don’t understand the exact functionality you are describing, but it doesn’t seem like something that is currently supported. Sorry!

If you open up the ‘product-catalog-8’ directory, then open the ‘includes’ directory you will see a file called ‘shortcode.php’

You will want to open this up and remove all the instances of

target=’_blank’ (it’s in there 6 times)

Thanks for the kind words, I’m thinking March 16 for the next release, as soon as I have something that you can trial I’ll post here.

sculptgal, does the settings page in the Product Catalog 8 plugin help you at all? You can hide the category title.

1) Yes I didn’t add the ability to move categories and products in between catalogs, but that is definitely a future update, I want to make a simple drag and drop type system.

2) I made the default id=”1″, so if you don’t include the id it includes the id=’1′ catalog. (At least that’s how I hope it’s working!)

I really like that idea of adding a newest items function. Something like [catalog-8 newest=”date”] could call up the newest products and sort them by date. Will definitely be in the next update or two.

Hey emilniemi, thanks for your feedback. My next update is going to be a major update so my guess is 3-4 weeks. It will definitely have sort/search and multiple layout options (I like the idea of making one a list like you have above).

Catalogs can be added in the catalog admin area. Select the current catalog in the select menu to the right of the main navigation menu. (It is only available on product, category, and subcategory).

Seems to be finished but a lot of code was changed and I don’t want to rush this one out with bugs, I will have some time to do some further bug testing tomorrow, and if I don’t find any I’ll push this out around 7PM Friday.

The multiple catalog update is going well, and I should be able to upload it Thursday night (eastern usa time). Sorry for the delay for those who are waiting!

Hi ssteckley, I haven’t see that problem before. Are the pc8 tables in your database after plugin installation?
