Still need a .htaccess file to work with, but the site is doing as I want it to now.

ok, thanks, that looks like what i need at a glance.

The other issue is that i managed to screw up my .htaccess file with out backing it up.

Can you help with restoring it or provide a default version for me to modify and put on my site?

I’m thinking that during the install it said a certain file was missing, and asked me for certain info. I think i put

https://www.frozendesigns.co.uk/imaginetales

instead of just

https://www.imaginetales.co.uk

just installed 2.7 fine and then upgrade to 2.7.1 from the dashboard.

i just tried 2.7 and worked fine, upgrade to 2.7.1 from the dashboard.

I’m the same, tried two upzips using two programs, reuploaded 3 times used mozilla and all reported fine. Pretty sure my php is enabled on the server (checking now), the login details are correct and the files are there. But still getting error messages.

Is it a permission problem maybe? I changed the settings to full access on install.php with no luck.
