Here is the ADD THIS code I inserted in a sidebar text widget that bolloxed up my footer widgets:
<!-- Go to www.addthis.com/dashboard to customize your tools --> <script type="text/javascript" src="//s7.addthis.com/js/300/addthis_widget.js#pubid=ra-my-code-number" async="async"></script> <!-- Go to www.addthis.com/dashboard to customize your tools --> <div class="addthis_sharing_toolbox"></div>
Face=Red – Now to remove that durn login box on bottom left of pages.
Thanks for force-connecting the broken synapses in my brain.

Aight….
Figured it out. My bad.
I added a text widget to bottom of sidebar with “Add This” code.
It didn’t work and I forgot about it. I just removed it and all 4 footers returned.
The “Site Admin Login” thingie to bottom left of pages has returned but not as big an issue.
I will get back with the “AddThis” code I used so you can scold and for-warn all other newbs like me not to do what I did.
okie dokie….
thanks for taking the time for looking into this snafu for me.
If by re-assign you mean – remove and replace – I did not.
But that was because all 3 footer widgets – actually 4 – counting the copyright are all working fine on full-width front page.
I did change the “About” page to full width from “default page” and the 4 footer widgets returned.
I am assuming they would work on all page if I changed them to full width.
Not sure what you mean by re-assign.
I just checked the settings and that’s about it.
One other thing I was doing was adding “Add This” to pages.
Removed all and no change.
I also noticed that the admin login button returned at bottom left of front page.
All the updated style.css code is still there from earlier post:
#site-admin-link { display: none; }
So just for the heck of it I added the above code to another tiny forge that I had forgotten and it worked like a charm. Compared all my footer widget settings to site with problems and all checks out.
Could the fact that I was making changes as the 4.2.1. update occurred have put the site in some sort of black hole time warp.
(drama added fro maximum effect)??

In reply to: [Minamaze] Minamaze Missing Alt Tagsthanks onelonelystar….
I am aware of how to add alt tags in html….the problem is – I cannot find the file/folder to access the image code.
It is part of the theme itself.
