Have updated and the scan completes in under a minute and gives me the results I expected. Thank you for the quick fix to the problem. I’ll check it out in full now and if it does what I expect it to I will add the plugin to several other sites.

Thank you very much. Appreciate the swift response as this plug looks exactly what I’m looking for to force my users to add alt text to images – they’ve been told often enough but never bother!

Have recorded a video for you. No sound (no mic on this PC) but I think it will be obvious. Shows a post with images, switches to edit so you can see the structure. Then I go to Alt Text settings and show the selected options. Switch to dashboard and run scan for about a minute then stop it to show results. Even after an hour there are no results. Have tried PHP versions 8.0, 8.1 and 8.2 but we normally run 8.1. All plugins up to date except for Events Manager where we’ve frozen it on V6.3 while they sort out a few issues the the later version.

Hi. Thanks for the quick reply. I have Events, Pages, Posts and Media Attachment selected. All will have images. I could try just selecting Pages for example.

Hi I’ve rolled back to V 2.0.1 which was in place when the recordings were completed back in April/May 2020 but the problem still persists.

I’ve tried creating a new episode from scratch from one of the recordings but it doesn’t work – file doesn’t play and the download and new window options both give a 404 error.

I suspect there is an issue with another plugin or the theme – Awaken. I’ll change to Twenty Twenty-one and see if that has any effect.

I’ll give that a go and report back.

Had the same issue this morning after running Impreza and WP BakeryBuilder updates. I trust a fix will come soon as having to work around using List option which is not so convenient. Make a lot of use of media categories so disabling this not really an option.

Putting finishing touches to a site due to launch on 1st August so bit of a bummer!
