Hi!
I’ve tried this step, I just can’t figure out just how to write the address. I’ve made a page of my own called reg-complete.php with a message I wish to be shown when a user is done with the registration. At the moment I’m only working on a local host so I’ve tried the following URLs:
reg-complete.php
/reg-complete.php
strandskatool.dev/reg-complete.php
https://strandskatool.dev/reg-complete.phpThe address in shown the browsers addressfield but the page it self doesn’t.
I have the same issue, no matter how I enter the Set Custom Redirect URL it doesn’t work.
Could you please help me with this? I have a page of my own that I want to redirect to.- This reply was modified 7 years, 1 month ago by evenstevenswe.
Hey! It seems you’ve solved the issue I’m having right now, could you please help me? I want redirect people who just registered to a page of my own but I can’t figure how to write the URL. As of now, however I write the URL nothing happens. The address to the page is shown in the address field but my page isn’t. I don’t even get any type of error..
Same issue for me, and no help anywhere to be found! I tried the
Set Custom Redirect URL option but no luck with that either. I can’t be that difficult and yet it is..Yes, I got it working now. Thanks!
Thanks for you reply! However, this doesn’t solve my issue.
I’ll try to explain again, the page I’m building is only stored locally at the moment. I have made a startpage outside of WordPress and that’s where I want to have my login form. I’ve added the shortcode and so far so good.
But, when the plugin is active I cannot login to the admin panel. I get redirected and the login that shows is for the UM members, it somehow replaces the wordpress admin login. To get around this I have no choice but to rename the folder so the plugin won’t start. When I’m logged in, I rename the folder again and reload so that I can work with the plugin.
Now, I’m fairly new to WordPress and of course It’s something that I do wrong, but what? I really can’t figure this out.
Surely there must be a way to have the plugin active and still be able to login to the admin area right?
