In reply to: Twenty Ten Theme resizing image bugI amended $content_width in functions.php to 800px, and re-activated the Photon module, and the images are displaying correctly now. Cheers.

Would disabling this module have any negative effect on my site in any way?

In reply to: Twenty Ten Theme resizing image bugsorry for not being more specific. the images’ width should be 800px (same as the width of my paragraphs) but they are being resized to a slightly smaller size.
Thanks for the advice I will look into that.. thought it’s going to be quite a hassle as I would need to re-edit the CSS and php template files which I spent a lot of time on.

In reply to: Advice on Header.php in twenty ten themeThanks very much for your prompt reply Jacob.
I want to remove these parts because I do not want the crawling bot to read these words first. Instead, I want the bot to read my article’s title first (which contains keywords) so as to improve SEO.
Why is removing the “Skip to Content” link bad for accessibility? I do not see this link when I view the page in normal mode. I only see it in the text-only cache view.

In reply to: Remove white space on right side of website (Twenty Ten Theme)thank you!
However, after further checking, it seems the main culprit is in line 52:
#access {
margin-left: 308px;
width: 270px;
}In order to center my navigation bar (Home, About, Videos, Archives), I need to shift it to the left by 308px. However, this creates the additional space on the right of the website.. Any solution for this?
Any comments on this frustrating issue would be greatly appreciated.
Regards,
Evans

In reply to: [Theme: Twenty Twelve] getting rid of menu buttonTo others having the same issue:
I tried various methods (javascript, editing php, etc), but these did not work well, e.g. i got rid of the menu button but the menu was not properly aligned, etc.
I have switched to the twenty ten theme and rewrote the css. The site works ok now on older/IE browsers as well as on mobile devices.
