@webmandesign At this point, there is no specific Gutenberg support, but the old metabox systems should still work. I do plan to add a separate Gutenberg panel, but I’m not sure if this isn’t too much for a simple plugin with simple input.

I’ve tested this case but I cannot reproduce the issue. Can you try it with a default theme and let me know if you still see the issue?

Or maybe let me know what other plugins are you using when encountering the issue?

Hi,

Sorry for missing this for so long. They are the same; the name of the field is inherited from the post type label.

I’m not sure how this is related to a child theme; this plugin will set a body class for individual posts or pages, not for templates.

Hi,

That’s correct!

Custom Body Class handles data which can be managed by the super-admin users only. If the admin will set a body class, the views will see it, pretty simple.

I just tested the plugin on 5.1 and it worked for two of my websites.

Let’s see if we can find what’s not working. Can you take a look at the Settings -> Custom body class page? Make sure the post type you want the box on is checked.

Also, can you check the “Restrict for Administrators only” checkbox? With this feature off is a little buggy and I will fix it soon.

If none of these things help, please let me know more about your setup, is it multisite? Are there other plugins to conflict with?

Hello and thank you for your interest in this plugin.

I just updated it with a few bug fixes, and I plan to create a separate sidebar panel in the new WordPress editor (just like Yoast or Jetpack) for better control.

I personally use this plugin on many websites that I maintain, and I promise you that I won’t let it die ??

I just updated the plugin with some fixes on the scripts loading and maybe this was the issue.

I just tested the new version with Elementor lite (I don’t own the pro version) and it works.

Can you let us know what version of WordPress are you using?
WP_Rest_Controller was introduced in 4.7.0 so you will need at least this version for this plugin to work.
