In reply to: Problem with update 4.7I’ve been getting a similar issue with others here. When I attempt to go to the backend of my site through:
https://kitsuneyaoiotaku.com/wp-admin/Instead of the normal admin login screen, I get an error:
“No Update Required. Your WordPress Database is already up-to-date” and it has a button to continue. I hit that and it takes me to the front end of my site but I can’t get into by dashboard. Emptying the browser cache did nothing. I also have a cache plugin through my hosting and using that also did nothing. I’m hoping for fix to this soon.
Thanks,

In reply to: xmlrpc.phpHi GrexSlo,
I’m sorry you’re having an issue. I’ll do my best to help you.
So I can better understand what problem you’re having, could you explain the issue in more detail. You have an account with Zapier.com, correct? And you can still login into your wordpress site as normal.
When you say file I’m not sure what you mean. If you have the latest version of WordPress running, it should handle XML-RPC by default. We no longer need to enable it manually through the WP dashboard. If you haven’t already, you can check out this link, to make sure that you tried everything:
https://zapier.com/help/wordpress/#error-xml-rpc-server-accepts-post-requests-onlyIf you have an account with Zapier.com, you can contact their support and see if they can help you troubleshoot the issue for you and perhaps they can give you a better idea what is causing the problem. If they can’t, and you’ve exhausted every option, then it could be a problem with your site’s backend and you should check with your hosting to see if it’s a matter of them changing some of your site’s settings and see if the configurations for XML-RPC are correct.
Hope this helps or at least helped to steer you into the right direction to have your issue resolved. Don’t hesitate to reply if you have any other questions.
Thanks

In reply to: I cannot edit my posts anymoreHi mario8,
Before buying a new internet service provider, the best advice I can offer at this time is to contact your home internet service provider and see if they can help you from there. It could a server issue on the ISP side. For example I use Comcast/Xfinity as my internet service provider. It could be as simple as getting a new modem for your computer and your service provider should be able to help with that.
I hope this helps. Please let me know if I can help you any further now or in future.

In reply to: I cannot edit my posts anymoreHi mario8,
Awesome! I’m glad I was able to help you out with this. ??
Regarding your internet connection: Do you mean the internet connection at your home? I’m not talking about your mobile connection. How do you connect your desktop/laptop computer to the internet normally? Do you use a service provider like Comcast/Xfinity, DirectTV (which also has internet service)? Reason I’m asking is that since we were able to nail down that it is indeed an issue with your internet connection within your home, you are going to have to connect whomever provides you with internet service. Since I don’t know where you are located I can’t give you any advice on services. For example, Comcast is the internet provider I use. I have my desktop/laptop connected through a secure wifi connection.
Before spending a lot of money getting a new internet service, my best advice I can give you at this time is for you to get in touch with someone in support at your service provider and find out if they can look into your problem.
Let me know if I can help you further.

In reply to: I cannot edit my posts anymoreHi mario8,
Just to confirm:
1) You used different browsers on your laptop and desktop computers and it didn’t work.
2) You cleared your browser caches and that didn’t work.
3) Did you try a different network connection other than your home network connection with your mobile phone? If you went through those three points I mentioned above and still you’re having trouble editing your posts, someone mentioned contacting your site’s hosting support and ask them to check out your WP installation and database. Because the problem could be, not necessarily a connectivity issue, but something involving your site’s database files. I don’t recommend trying to change anything involving the database yourself.
So definitely check in with your host and see if they can help you out. Let me know if they helped you or what they suggested you do.
Hope this helped.

In reply to: I cannot edit my posts anymoreHi mario8,
It sounds like the problem you’re having is perhaps a network issue, ie an internet connectivity issue. Seeing that you said you were able to edit your post through your mobile phone and not your laptop or computer. One thing you may want to try is trying different browsers to see if you can post. If you can’t you also could try clearing your browser cache in order to remove any older files that could be slowing things down. One thing too: were you on your home internet network at the time you were using your mobile phone to edit or were you outside at either a library or other public place? If you were, this would be another way you can see if the reason you are having trouble editing posts is problems with connectivity.
I hope this was of use to you.
