Thanks for the information, I was trying various random tweaks with the PHP and it wasn’t working. I’m going to play with some alternatives, if I get this to work I’ll come back and say so. Thanks again!

It doesn’t get more minor than dropping in a plugin and altering how your title is printed. I recommend Image Headlines which just requires you to add -image- to the_title() and that’s it.

If you really want to do it without a plugin, check out the A List Apart DynaText tutorial, but I think you’ll find this more complicated than you’re looking for.

More info: I’ve figured out how to do this by modifying widgets.php – reordering $before_widget, $title, etc. – but obviously that’s not a great approach as it will require changing each and every widget.

It’s also not quite working with my theme design, but I haven’t tried to figure that part out yet.

The best way to do that is:
    <span style="color: yourcolorhere;">your text here</span>

Where is the PHP Calendar program you mentioned above? I did something like this before by hand but it was a drag, so I’d like to find a solution such as the one you mentioned.

Whoa, old bump. For what it’s worth, I’ve been using LP 1.99 just fine for several months now. It’s a really outstanding plugin; I’d be happy to help anyone who’s having trouble getting it working.

It seems the link for Arne’s plugin isn’t functioning; does anyone have an unmodified copy of this plugin?

Sorry about that moshu – I’m not having a good track record tonight, am I? I was reading off the front page so I hadn’t noticed what section of the forum we were in. *smacks head* I’ll quit being helpful until I actually know something!

Ah, that’s a different story, thanks for clearing it up for me. From what I’ve read WordPress and Yahoo do not have a support agreement, so there won’t be any official support. I hope someone else here will be able to help you, though.

It occurs to me that you might have meant using your Yahoo! site to host the files, and using WordPress for the actual blog that is your podcast.

To do this, you would still follow the instructions at Codex: Podcasting, and you would link to whatever your audio file link is on your Yahoo! site.

edit: Sorry Moshu, I finally figured that out! I *think* the above instructions would answer that question, but if not perhaps you can give a better answer. (I had originally thought the OP was asking how to make an RSS feed from a Yahoo blog, eg Yahoo 360, since the OP does mention from my blog on yahoo.)

If you are using Yahoo! 360, you can do this through the site itself. Although this isn’t a WordPress support question directly, I do have an answer for you.

From your main Yahoo! 360 page, go to “Edit Blog Settings” from the sidebar. Make sure “who can see your blog” is set to Public, and make sure “publish site feed” is checked. Save your settings if you had to change anything.

View your blog (as others would see it), and at the bottom you will find an orange button that says RSS. You can use this RSS feed directly, or you can publish it through Feedburner to get enhanced features for podcasters.

To my knowledge, unless the rules have changed, the WordPress support forum is not intended to be used to ask for website reviews. The purpose of this forum is to provide support for the WordPress software, where members of the community can answer questions posed by fellow WordPress users.

Your post might also be construed as an attempt to increase Google PageRank, even if you did not intend that when you made this post.

SK2 has not been catching everything for me lately, probably due to the thresholds I lowered because real commenters were getting tagged as spam.

I’m going to try Akismet for a while and see how it goes…

I think I tried something like that myself and wasn’t able to do it…I just looked again and I don’t see what file that stuff gets stored in. I don’t think that would fix the specific errors you mention though. Hopefully unteins will check in here and have something more helpful!

tray: I got extremely similar errors as seen above. Do you have the copy of class-IXR.php that came with LP 1.2? If so, try using that. If not, let me know, I might be able to send you mine, as it has been working great for me.
