Luckily after some more back and forth I was able to restore a previous version, find out the culprit Plug-In.

I’ve tried other log-in suggestion, got the same message again.

I also tried clicking on ‘Lost Your Password’ to try and reset the password … I’ve not received email from WordPress with instructions and link to do so, it’s been at least half an hour or so.
