@jason_hayes When permalinks get indexed, you can never generate the same permalink again unless some conditions are met. This link is unique, and Google cannot duplicate it. So check that permalink on Google to see if it is indexed or not. This is how you check. On Google write
site:xyz.com (Your site link)
If your link is indexed, it will show up on Google. If it is not indexed, then you are good to go after 30 days on WordPress.
If the link is indexed, you can always submit a removal request in your GSC. But it deletes the link temporarily. On that URL, you will get a 404 error.
