UPDATE: I sucessfully added a total of 7 text elements and 12 image elements on one slide. The timing and fade-ins/outs functioned exactly per my settings. After adding each element, I would do a live preview and then save settings. After doing this as well at the completion of adding the last image element I then logged out, closed my browser, reopened the browser and logged back into my WordPress dashboard. All but three of my elements were completely corrupted as to the parameters I had set for them. Why am I unable to keep my slide functioning intact after setting it up and testing it out and saving in in perfect functioning order?

Disabling CSS Hero didn’t make a difference. However, I via a lot of trial and error, I have come to consistently experience the following complication. Whenever I have to go outside of the Crelly Slider to another part of the wordpress dashboard, even after saving my settings, and I come back into the slider, most of my settings become immediately corrupted. For example, if I do an “Add image” and the image size shows in need of being downsized, if I go back into the image library and from there edit the image size and then update it in the edit screen (via two sequential update buttons)and then refresh the updated image in the image library, even after all of that, when I try to introduce it into the Crelly Slider, most of my settings become corrupted. The only way I have learned to avoid this is to edit and update the image size in another browser window first. Then I can safely bring the image into the slider. The same thing goes for any attempt to custom color any text. I have to experiment and get the right color code via another browser window. Then I can copy and paste it into the CSS box for the slider. HOWEVER, I must still be doing something wrong here in terms of making the color apply. I cannot get any custom color to take. The coding for color I am using is color:8d1dba for a variant of violet. It makes no difference if I add the # sign before the combined numeral/letter color code. Do only color names work for the slider? Please don’t mark the original issue as resolved, as I’m not completely sure yet this is the entire reason for my image/text additions going corrupt. You’re response is looked forward to and appreciated. Thank you.

Are you aware of conflicts with either the CSSHero plugin or the Layers theme customizer? After an increasing number of snafus with the Crelly Slider settings not functioning properly, I not only removed it, but removed all content on my website, uninstalled the plugin, deleted all of its content along with that, reinstalled it and started with nothing but brand new slider content. I still had the same problems occurring. Simple ones like the CSS style codes not affecting the text showing in the slider view box until I would click on the Live Preview button, and then reverting back to plain text upon stopping the preview. Nor can I use HTML within a line of text without causing a new text line to be created at the very point of inserting the HTML.
