Forum: Themes and Templates
In reply to: All I Want Are CommentsThanks podz. HaloScan is a good solution for getting comments up and running quickly, but it relies on JavaScript doesn’t write the comments directly onto the post page.
I guess a better way to phrase my question is: How do I merge a currently-existing, completely manually handled site to WordPress?
All the documentation I’ve read deals with how to transfer a site from another blogging tool to WordPress, or how to build a WordPress site from the ground up. In my case I already have my site pages created and the stylesheets they use. I suspect might have to create themes or something, but can anyone nudge me in the right direction?

In reply to: All I Want Are CommentsNo moshu, it is not a WP blog. The entire site is maintained by hand.
Thanks podz, I’ll check out haloscan. I’ll check back in real soon on how it works for me.

In reply to: All I Want are Commentsjonimueller,
In my General Options page I have WordPress address (URI) set to https://etereoreal.com/wordpress, and the Blog address (URI) set to https://etereoreal.com. URI’s need to be the same for my current site to be affected by the changes in the WordPress control Panel?
Otherwise when I enable comments or use Write Post in panel, nothing changes in my current site. Is there a way to upload my entire site to WordPress?
