NVM I went with Xhanch – My Twitter
all I needed was a good widget

well my oAuth authentication worked
did not get any errors of any kind but
my twitter-tools widget is not getting any of my updates
i cant go back to the older twitter-tools because twitter changed the api login so no more pop-up logins so there for the older plugin is no help.

my ? is how long do i have to w8 before this is fixed?
or do i just need to start looking for some kind of alternative plugin?

OK heres the the idea.
move the settings in the gallery/xml/media-rss.php
to the wp-admin settings part of the nextgen plug-in.
this way every time I have to update your plugin I don’t have to edit files to get the rss feed the way I want it.

this is the one of 2 things I really don’t like about this plugin.
the other would be to have thumbnails in the Rss feed.

I got the same thing happening to me
I get get whats wrong with trackbacks for pages
when i go to a back TB url its comes back with 404 with blog post everything works.

I dont get it?

yea well its kind of hard to trust someone that does things in a not soo cool way.
I feel the maker of this plugin should have toled everyone about this
within the plugin & on there www.remarpro.com plugin page.

as for the a2a_config.no_3p=1
I feel that should be a check box of some knid in the add-to-any plugin settings page, so endusers who are not hardcore tech ppl
can set it & also have a description telling the enduser what this is all about so they know what it is & can pick to have it on or off.

as for me i feel i can not longer trust the maker of this plugin
& will not be readding it to my website.

so alexrabe do you have anything to add to this topic??

yes this works but does have some bugs in it
the maker does not update it anymore.

sure would be nice if we did not have to fill in all the options for /nextgen-gallery/xml/media-rss.php every time we update nextgen-gallery.

that gets old fast & with how often you have to update the plugin.

wow you can see pics in the slideshows.
I don’t even see pics on my slideshows with IE8
& I got the same setup as you but i’m running WP2.9.2

no i only made this post because i only tested it with admin lol

come on dude i’m not dumb!!!
I had 8 good friends/members of my site, e-mail me about it
saying they can see it.
I have 2 test users so I login as one of them & there be hold before my eye is the chart.

my members do not need to see the ips of others user on my site
thats really bad.

so i had to turn off
small chart in the dashboard.
it was the easy way of fixing it
I’m not going to get into the code of that plugin or anything
i got better things to do with my time.
hope the maker will fix it at some point

I never new that the revisions add up over time
I do have one plugin called “wassup” thats taking up a lot of space & wish i could just make it pull from some other DB.
with my host i can make as many DBs as i want they just cant go over 200MB.

I wish WP can use more then one DB.
