You should check the theme code (or check with the developer) to remove the comment tags if you want it to be displayed.

Yes, it seems that the ratio/proportion of the video is what causes the white spaces.
This behavior is related to the native Cover block, not to the functionality of the theme, which is intended for use with an image.

Check in the Cover Block settings the margin, padding and block spacing properties, as well as the ‘minimum height of cover’ value. Also check the next block that does not have an specified margin.

For now we do not plan to create a version of the Business theme for Genesis Framework, the next themes that we are preparing for the moment are all theme blocks.

Puedes a?adir un elemento de menú manualmente para el login creando un custom link o enlace personalizado con la url: ?#login
De esta forma se abrirá la modal desde cualquier página.

La ventana modal (.login-modal-box) tiene un z-index de 9999
Prueba a aumentarlo para conseguir que quede por encima del otro formulario:

.login-modal-box {
z-index: 99999;
}

El número de posts a mostrar desde el bloque está limitado por temas de rendimiento, está pensado para mostrar unos cuantos cómo destacados dentro de una página de la web, no el listado completo de entradas.
De todas formas también tienes la páginación disponible para mostrar el resto.
