In reply to: [WooCommerce] Can no longer Refund after UpdatingFound the solution. How refunds are processed has changed in Woocommerce starting with version 3.6.
New process:
1. Go to: WooCommerce > Orders
2. Select the order you wish to refund.
3. Click the grey Refund button to start.
4. Specify the quantity of the product(s) to be refunded in the text box(es) that appear for each line item. The refund amount will automatically adjust based on the products refunded. If inventory levels are not managed, you can also simply enter the Refund amount, without adjusting the product quantity. If the quantities of items are not set when issuing a refund then the order is not marked as refunded and the email that is sent will say “partial refund.”
5. Add refund notes, if desired.
6. Click Refund $X via [Your Gateway]Not labeled, and not intuitive.

In reply to: [WooCommerce] Woocommerce 3.6.2 upgrade breaks WordPress Popular PostsYes. I was running version 3.6.2 when I first noticed the problem.
I have the problem with this set of plugins:
Woocommerce 3.6.2
Woocommerce PayPal Checkout Gateway 1.6.11
Wordpress Popular Posts 4.2.2For now, I’ve reverted Woocommerce to 3.5.8 on my live site to keep my site fully functional.
I’m using the three listed above on my test site, and it’s not working, though I CAN get WordPress Popular Posts to work with Woocommerce 3.6.2 if I disable the PayPal Checkout Gateway plugin.
Of course, then I can’t get paid…

In reply to: [WordPress Popular Posts] Stopped counting statsI’m not seeing any changes on my WPP stats page. I’ve refreshed that AC/DC page in two different browsers a half a dozen times and it’s not showing up on my stats page at all.
The stats page is configured to show my only post type “product,” by the way and I have it set to show the top 75 most-viewed items.
Not seeing it. Or anything else that I’m refreshing.
If it would help, I’d be happy to give you access to the test site so you can look at it first hand.

In reply to: [WordPress Popular Posts] Stopped counting statsI just can’t figure this out.
I currently have only two plugins active on my test site:
WPP
Woocommerce
I have a couple of product pages open in two other browsers.
With Woocommerce 3.5.8, refreshing those product pages in either browser increases the page view count in WPP stats.
When I upgrade Woocommerce to 3.6.2, the page views no longer increment with a page refresh.
If I revert Woocommerce to 3.5.8, refreshing the product page increases the page view count.
If I upgrade Woocommerce again, the page views won’t increment with a page refresh.
I’m still fairly certain this is a Woocommerce issue.

In reply to: [WordPress Popular Posts] Stopped counting statsOK. At the recommendation of the Woocommerce team, I copied my site to a staging site and tried changing the theme and deactivating all plugins except Woocommerce 3.6.2 and WPP.

Woocommerce thread:
Wordpress Popular Posts still does not work.
Now what?

With all plugins activated and Woocommerce 3.5.8 installed, WordPress Popular Posts works.
I upgraded Woocommerce to 3.6.2. WordPress Popular Posts quit working.
I changed the theme from Storefront to Twenty Seventeen.
Wordpress Popular Posts still does not work.
I deactivated all plugins except Woocommerce and WordPress Popular Posts.
Wordpress Popular Posts still does not work.

In reply to: [WordPress Popular Posts] Stopped counting statsThe Woocommerce team has replied; they’ve suggested that it must be some other plugin.
I don’t see how upgrading Woocommerce alone would cause some other plugin break WPP.
I’ll disable all my plugins and test it, I guess.

In reply to: [WooCommerce] Woocommerce 3.6.2 upgrade breaks WordPress Popular Posts“…when you upgrade WooCommerce, it uses the exact same files as if you install it from fresh…”
Upgrading Woocommerce from 3.5.8 to 3.6.2. makes no changes to the database? Or anything else?
I cannot believe that upgrading Woocommerce alone would cause some other plugin or theme to suddenly cause WordPress Popular Posts to not work anymore.
I don’t see how that could even be possible.
I’ll test it; there’s not much else to do. But if I ONLY upgrade Woocommerce, WPP breaks. If I revert, it works again.

In reply to: [WordPress Popular Posts] Stopped counting statsWill do. Given the wide variety of applications for WordPress and the large number of plugins, I’m surprised that I don’t encounter this sort of compaitiblity problem more often.
I have alerted them to this thread and I’ll post back if anything useful comes of it.

In reply to: [WordPress Popular Posts] Stopped counting statsThat’s what I suspected. It seems to have something to do with the upgraded version of Woocommerce, rather than the current version of the software itself.
When I revert to Woocommerce 3.5.8, WPP works. When I upgrade to 3.6.2, it doesn’t. If I revert again, it works again. If I upgrade again, WPP quits working.
It’s repeatable.
Is this an issue for the Woocommerce people? Don’t really know what to do here.

In reply to: [WordPress Popular Posts] Stopped counting statsHector,
When you tested WPP with Woocommerce 3.6.2, were you using a fresh (never before installed) version of Woocommerce?
As I’ve mentioned, I’ve upgraded that plugin a number of times, most recently from 3.5.8 to 3.6.2, and there were literally hundreds of changes in that upgrade.
It makes me wonder if there isn’t something going on with my installation that’s affecting WPP that isn’t present in yours.

In reply to: [WordPress Popular Posts] Stopped counting statsI didn’t see anything there, either.
I just reverted Woocommerce to version 3.5.8. WPP is working again.

In reply to: [WordPress Popular Posts] Stopped counting statsI have also been testing a new version of another plugin – Advanced Dynamic Pricing for Woocommerce Pro, and there are error messages in the log that reflect that.
The problems with WPP started before I made changes to that other plugin, and I have since (as of ten minutes ago) reverted to the version of that plugin that I was using a month ago when everything worked.
Still not working.
Last two weeks of my error log are here:
