    Thanks for sending the link. I was able to find the php.ini file but I am not sure where would I insert the following into the code:

    curl.cainfo=c:\php\cacert.pem

    I am new to php and would like to get some advice on how to accomplish this. Would installing the certificate via the IIS Manager work? Is there an easier way for non coders to fix the SSL local certificate issue?

    I look forward to your response. Thank you.

    Ronak-
    When you have the opportunity, kindly advise on how to fix this issue. I really need to have the plugin working. Thank you so much for your attention to this issue.

    I am having a similar problem but it has something to do with Awesome Flickr Gallery plug-in that recently started showing up. I believe this has something to do with the recent update of the plugin (V3.5) The following error is showing on our WP website:
    Awesome Flickr Gallery Error – SSL certificate problem: unable to get local issuer certificate.
    I am having a hard time addressing the issue to the developer of the plugin as I cannot create an account on his site using my Google sign in.
    In addition, I am confused as to what version of the AFG plugin is should be using. The WP site latest downloadable version is 3.3.5 but my site’s version shows 3.5. Any ides on how to fix this issue is greatly appreciated.

    I am having the same problem from my local workstation behind the firewall when I change the site and home URL. After changing the URLs from the Settings>General, I could not browse to my site using the server browser. One of the forums recommended to modify the hosts file on the server and now I am able to log in to my site using the domain name but my issue continues not being able to access the site from a desktop.
