I have tried with placing the code in the footer but nothing changed.
It looks like a different problem to me as it always worked over the past 6 months, and I did not change anything in the editor.

I have the feel I have to replace pic by pic in the posts to update the alt text in the post.

Thanks, I did read the article before, that is why I am trying to optimize my images titles and alt-text.
I think the problem is that the alt text was automatically copied from the title of the image when uploaded (i.e. img_001). Now after I update in the media library it does not update it in the related post

an example after I did update image name and alt text:
src=”https://www.tripsanthology.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/12/lisbon-street-chestnuts.jpg” alt=”__4_00290med”

(what is strange is that it does update the picture name)

SOLVED!

They migrated to windows 2012 and changes one permission and all good now.

I have just switched theme yesterday and with the previous theme it was working. Might be that something went wrong in the passage from one to the other.

I did not set up any page myself, it should be automatically created to contain older posts (infact the website says 1-4 page).
