UPDATE: I contacted customer service at iPage, and they corrected this issue for me. I asked how they did it, so I can do it myself in the future — and they said, “Just contact us if you have this issue again.” hmm
Anyway, thanks for your help — and this great plugin!

In reply to: [Pinboard] How to remove links in the slider?Thank you, Karim! I’ll give it a try.
For now, I redirected the links to the home page. ??

In reply to: installing to Ipage using the duplicatorThank you! I ended up contacting iPage customer service, and they fixed it for me. haha. That video is really useful.
Thanks again!
After combing through the forums, this problem appears to be related to the iPage/Duplicator compatibility issues others have had. Oh boy! ??
iPage doesn’t allow an install through the root folder, so I created the sub folder “portfolio”. What I don’t understand is why that becomes inextricable from my url. I tried “public_html”, but that resulted in a url of erinholmberg.com/public_html — so I switched back to “portfolio” ??
If anyone has more suggestions, I’m still searching. Thanks again!

In reply to: installing to Ipage using the duplicatorAllen, I’m having the same issue with iPage & Duplicator! After creating a sub folder, the folder name became a permanent part of my url. Worse, the url doesn’t work without the folder name tacked on:
https://erinholmberg.com/portfolio/
I named the sub folder “portfolio” so that it doesn’t look like a glaring mistake. ?? Sadly, erinholmberg.com doesn’t work alone, and redirects don’t work.
Did this happen to you? Do you have suggestions? Any info you have would be very appreciated! ??
UPDATE 2: I changed the folder name to “portfolio” so that it doesn’t look like a mistake to the world at large! ??
Here’s the site: https://erinholmberg.com/portfolio/
I’d still love your thoughts & suggestions since I don’t know what caused this issue, or how to *really* fix it.
No matter what, this plugin is great and I will definitely recommend it. ??
UPDATE: I contacted the host provider, and they broke the above link during their efforts to correct the issue. Supposedly, the site is currently propagating with the correct URL, but I’ll believe it when I see it! ??
Any suggestions you have based upon the description in my previous post would still be very appreciated. I still don’t know what caused this issue in the first place . . .
THANK YOU!
