Some progress made: the page looks fine if I go to it under its generic domain: https://ringmar.net/irhistorynew/ It is only when I use the purchased domain name https://irhistory.info that it looks like a webpage. Why would that be?

I changed to the twentyseventeen theme: https://ringmar.net/kingdancing/index.php/2017/09/29/guicciardini-francesco-history-of-italy-volume-1/ but still spinning cogwheels. I also deactivate all plugins except Zotpress, but that too didn’t change anything. Too bad …
