It is not as easy as you make it out to be. The plugin has to automatically recognize the custom values, their types, and whether or not the user wants to display them in the directory or profiles. It is not extremely hard to do, but it does take more time than you are suggesting.

Register Plus is not the only plugin I was considering adding support for in the next release. I have been busy with other projects, but I might be able to finish this soon.

I will add a template tag that automatically generates a link to the current author’s profile.

Support for various profile plugins is in the works.

I am currently adding support for various plugins that add custom fields.

Could the permalink structure be the reason why it’s displaying no users?

No. An incorrect permalink structure would result in a 404 error, not a blank directory.

Try deleting the “users” page, disabling the plugin, and re-enabling the plugin.

How many users have you set it to show per page? Try changing it to 1.

Do you use any plugins like Role Manager which affect a user’s information?

What plugins are you using on your site?

I will consider adding support for Role Manager. Keep your eye out for it in a future release.
