I got the plugin to show once I selected:

“Advanced status composition” in the options page for Status Updater

and now the box appears in the Add New / Edit Post screen.

I have disabled all plugins that I have installed as well as any plugins that came with the theme.

I also switched to the default theme with no luck.

So currently the posts DO get put on Facebook/Twitter, but I cannot VIEW THE OPTIONS of Status Updater on the edit post page. It’s as if it is hidden but still functional.
