In reply to: [Ray Enterprise Translation] forum topic creation not workingI’ve never tested compatibility with bbpress and Lingotek/Polylang. One thing to check is in the Polylang settings you can enable translation of custom content types. The bbpress forum topics may show up in there and if you enable them, you should be able to translate them.
Let me know if that works.

In reply to: [Ray Enterprise Translation] Hooked up at update translationI’m sorry this is happening again for you. I will investigate and see if I can reproduce. To help me do that would you be able to give me as much information as possible about the following things.
The content types you are trying to translate.
The languages you are trying to translate that content into.
What your Lingotek Default Settings page looks like.
What the Translation Profile associated with the content types you are trying to translate is.
What the name of your Community is under the Lingotek Account settings.
Anything else you may think is helpful.
I hope that we can get this resolved for you and that these issues won’t occur anymore.

In reply to: [Ray Enterprise Translation] Hooked up at update translationSorry for the slow response.I must have missed the notification about your first post.
I will investigate what may have been causing your issue to see if I can figure out what happened.
In the future there is an option that appears after you have uploaded content to Lingotek. This option is “Disassociate from Lingotek”. This basically breaks the connection of that content to Lingotek so you can try to re-upload and try to kick off the translation workflow again.
Please let us know again if you run into issues and I will do better at responding quickly!

In reply to: [Ray Enterprise Translation] A very good pluginHi @sabrinaco,
Categories and images actually can be preserved across translations. You need to go into the Polylang settings and enable synchronization of taxonomy and disable Media Translation. Doing those two things should accomplish what you are requesting.

In reply to: [Ray Enterprise Translation] ShortcodeThe flag icons actually come from Polylang. Here is a link to their documentation about the flag icons that may be helpful for you.
Upon activation of the plugin it deleted two sections of your front page? This shouldn’t happen. Could you give me some more information about your problem so I can investigate?

In reply to: [Ray Enterprise Translation] Connect Lingotek Account failedThis issue has been resolved. You should now be able to connect.
neogic,
By default, the Lingotek plugin protects attributes within shortcodes (e.g., [vc_row type=”do_not_translate”]) from being translated as they often contain code within them. Also, by default, the Lingotek plugin translates content the within shortcode tags (e.g., [vc_column_text]This text should be translated.[/vc_column_text]) as it is often text that requires translation. The issue that you describe can be resolved by using a Custom Filter. We allow customers to create an unlimited number of Custom Filters to be used to do more complex filtering. (Contact [email protected] for more information.)
The behavior you are experiencing in #2 and #3 is to be expected, so at least for now, you will need to use the workarounds that I have provided above.
We think the features you mention have some merit, yet, unfortunately, we are not sure when we will be able to get to them. Would you be interested in contributing code to the Lingotek plugin to help develop the specific features that you want? We would love to collaborate with you to help get some of your ideas into the plugin.

In reply to: [Ray Enterprise Translation] can′t add new categories and tags in a postI’m not able to reproduce. I can add Tags and Categories just fine. What versions of Polylang and Lingotek do you have?
Do you maybe have some other plugins enabled that could be causing the issue? Do you have any steps I could try to recreate to see if I can run into the issue?

In reply to: [Ray Enterprise Translation] Community Features – do they exist?Jonathan,
We are working on getting the Workbench fixed so that users beyond just the one you signed up for Lingotek with will be able to access it.
